Don't get taken by a spoof site

Spoof sites copy the appearance of popular Web sites in order to steal an individual's personal information. Once they receive this information it may be used to commit identity theft or other crimes.

Spoof sites can vary greatly. They can appear as fradulent:

1. Business Protection Programs
2. "Payment Protection" Sites
3. International Shipping Companies
4. Escrow Services
5. Auto Trader Warehouses
