California skunk rides truck into Canada

A big rig traveling from California to Canada accidentally picked up a hitchhiker who has created a smelly situation.

The National Post reports a skunk climbed into pipes on a truck bound for Canada for a nap, then woke up in Toronto after a 5000 kilometer trip.

The skunk was unhurt, but now is stuck in Canada because shipping carriers refuse to give the furry stowaway a ride.

Have you discovered wildlife hitching a ride on your truck? Would you be willing to give a skunk a ride back to California? Post your comment below and tell us your story.

As of this posting, there is still no one willing to offer the skunk a ride. Check out the story for more details if you want to help.

Does anyone have an update on this? Did the skunk get a ride home?
