Ford Announces New F-150 Engine Specs

According to PickupTrucks.com, Ford Motor Co. released the 2011 engine specs for its popular F-150. The horsepower ratings for the four new engines will range from 302 to 411.

The entry level engine will be a 3.7 liter V6 that is rated at 302 hp. Also available will be a 5.0 liter V8 rated at 360 hp, a 6.2 liter V8 rated at 411 hp, and a 3.5 liter V6 rated at 365 hp.

Ford will offer one transmission for the F-150 in 2011: a 6-speed 6LR80 automatic. At Commercial Truck Trader, we’ve seen an uptick in Ford half-tons for sale with 1700 F150’s currently listed.
