“We’re seeing positive demand for the T700 and expect it to increase as customers purchase fuel-efficient, aerodynamic trucks as their business and the economy strengthens,” said Marilyn Santangelo, Kenworth assistant general manager for operations. Last month Kenworth received an order for 500 T700s from Stevens Transport in Dallas.
According to Kenworth, the T700 has the lowest aerodynamic drag of any Kenworth truck in company history and earned Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay program certification. The T700 also offers a spacious wide-cab and 75-inch Aerodyne sleeper with 8-foot cathedral ceiling.

MACK MP engines feature the Mack ClearTech selective catalytic reduction system, which delivers near-zero emissions and is certified to EPA 2010 standards without the use of emissions credits.
“This milestone is in line with the fact that we were the first to achieve EPA 2010 certification, we had the trucks in customer hands early and often for testing, and we were ready to go soon enough to start production last fall,” said Kevin Flaherty, senior vice president – sales and marketing. “Customers are telling us we have the best EPA 2010 solution, bar none.”
