The 37th Annual World of Concrete Show happened
in Las Vegas in January 23rd- 27th. Since 1975,
this show has been the industry’s ONLY annual international event dedicated to
the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries. One word to
simply describe this show is massive - indoor and outdoor exhibits, leading
suppliers showcasing innovative products and technologies, exciting
demonstrations and competitions. There was something going on every
minute we were there – we defiantly started off 2012 strong at World of
Concrete! Plans for next years’ show are already in progress… We
hope to meet so many more of our loyal fans and readers so make your plans now!
Don’t take my word for it; here are some reviews from some
of our participants:
With 55,000+ visitors, the World of Concrete convention was
larger than initially anticipated. PayloadGlobal had a fantastic initial debut. Visitors to
the booth were captivated by this unique offering. Interest in the
world's first search engine for the industrial was great and many people came
to the stand after hearing about the product from other attendees through word
of mouth. We had a great show and look forward to next year's attendance.

Cristow – Director of Global Business Development
World of Concrete was the perfect venue
to showcase the Dominion Industrial suite of marketing and advertising
solutions! We spoke to hundreds of attendees about our international search
engine, our wholesale platform, and about our two highly recognized industrial
portals. My favorite part of the show was the CAT simulator, and seeing all of
the 2012 models debuted from Peterbilt, Dodge, Case, CAT, Bobcat / Doosan and
others.

Industrial Marketing Manager
I had such great time at the World of
Concrete in Las Vegas. I was very proud to represent our company at this
event! I especially enjoyed when Nadene and I ventured off to visit
booths to ask questions to other exhibitors. It was great how engaged
they were and very interested in hearing all about what we have to offer including
our
EquipmentTraderOnline, WIN, PayloadGlobal,
and CommercialTruckTrader.
The World of Concrete was a great way for me to see all the new equipment and
share with everyone what great websites we have! It was my first time in
Las Vegas and it definitely won't be the last!

I attended World of Concrete for my first time in 2012.
One major thing that hit me as I walked the floor was sheer size of the
industry; both physically in the type/size of equipment being displayed, and
the number of exhibitors with similar/competitive products to each other.
It struck me that this industry has a strong "cutting edge" to
it, inspired by the contractor's desire to find a better way to do things.
And it appears to be a loyal group of purchasers, doing business with
people they've done business with before, or with people they have been
referred to from a peer. The attendees were always friendly, and always willing
to talk. People from all over the world were represented at WOC 2012.
Carl Arnold – WIN General Manager
The World of Concrete proved, once again,
to be the most unique equipment show of the year. Attendees came from all over
the planet, providing a wealth of diversity. We made a number of interesting
contacts that are likely to provide terrific joint opportunities. Our launch of
PayloadGlobal proved
to be a real crowd-pleaser. Mitch Cristow had a lot of traffic at his booth,
and many of the people were from other countries. The show is so big that
it really takes an attendee several days to see everything. It felt to me that
the number of vendors providing seminars/instruction at their booths increased
this year. I saw a lot of live demonstrations that were well-attended.
